A good day and a warm salutation to you Mr. President.
Your victory in getting the president's desk of the Philippines gave strength and trust to Philippine government. With your leadership, I conceive that there would be a substantial change in political and administrative trend in national public governance.
Being the president of a developing country is really a great responsibility. There are many problems that are in need of immediate actions and solutions. Every Filipino is looking toward on your actions on the destruction of abusive and selfish governance of the former administration. Change is what our country demands.
As a high school student, I appreciate your concerns regarding K+12. I heard that recently, you supported this program but in my opinion, such plan is a mistake. Our public schools still have lot of financial problems. Example of these is the shortage of school facilities such as books. If this will be implemented, we will be in need of more classrooms, books, and teachers so as a result, new problems will arise. If your point is for additional education, there must be a training for teachers instead of having K + 12. It's effete and useless having additional years of studying if teachers will not be proficient in their work. This is one factor why students can't get full and high quality of learning. Another point to disagree with that is the additional expense for parents due to time spending.
Another vexation is about the irresponsible and careless manipulation and consumption of our natural resources. We are rich in environment and natural resources but why is it that we can't use it for our immediate progress? Sometimes, I thought of Filipinos being feckless to his actions. We need resourcefulness so that we could discover small things that could give us big help.
Sir, Filipinos believe in your power and abilities. We are expecting a lot from you. We hope that you'll do your best to lead us to the right path of success. This is a novel desire.
Thank you!

your letter is very well said but regarding to k+12. I disagree with your point of view. You may be right in saying that more problems will arise, Philippines is currently in its tough times but I think his decision in implementing k+12 is the first step to bring the tough times be at ease.
POVERTY, you're saying that adding another school year in high school will just be burden because we're poor. I think not. To defend my side, I would like to make an emphasis to this quote "no pain no gain" yes, people may suffer but at the end it will be all worth it. You say that we have less school facilities, but come to think of it, these things take time, in the long walk after 10 years, maybe we will not be encountering these kinds of problems anymore.
Educationally speaking, our country is so much behind other countries in Asia, some of them are already implementing smart education. Some already finished K+12 and this made their country more progressive. Will you let our country be left behind and just stick to our old curriculum?
I'm not expecting you to change your mind, but i hope you realize the importance of implementing k+12. :)
